I have a family member who is involved in a horrific case in the family court system. If I did not know this case first hand, it would be very hard to believe what has been done to him by the judge. His constitutional rights have been so violated. I have this week spoken with representative in our state regarding an indepth investigation into the family court system and necessary changes being made. I have spoken with so many that have a nightmare case from this court, however, if they are not willing to speak up, the judges will continue doing business as usual. The judges are being paid with taxpayer dollars, and they should be held responsible for their actions. PLEASE, if you, or someone you know has been unfairly treated in the family court, I would so much appreciate your postings. Just remember, if we do not step up, no changes can be made.

The emotions are similar to experiencing the death of a loved one because you are completely helpless. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, but the court system drags the tunnel out so long that it is hard to seen the end. I wish I could help, but you are fighting a losing battle. “I have a family member … no changes can be made.” This thread I think basically is dealing with Child Protective Services, which also definitely needs revamping. However, as long as I am breathing and have a brain left, I will never give up on trying to make changes in the family court system. They are in the business of destroying lives, and they need to be STOPPED. If we give up, they will just continue doing business as is. Go to Google and google "family court corruption" or to youtube and do the same search. You cannot believe what is happening. There is a group here in WV that is real active, they are Men & Women Against Discrimination (MAWAD). They met with Governor Manchin in November regarding Family Court Reform. I also spoke yesterday with Mike McCormick in Washington, DC. He is the Executive Director of "American Coalition for Fathers and Children", who are very involved in "shared parenting bills in all states". He advises that, although the family courts are corrupt all over the country, they tend to be worse in small, rural areas. The time has come for the people to take a stand, and not be intimidated by the family court system and the unscrupulous judges.

“I have a family member … no changes can be made.” The judges in that are no different than the other ones that call themselves judges that sit in the court house and the magistrate courts. They are bigger crooks than the crooks are and have been that way ever since there has been a county here. I often wondered how they kept getting voted back in time and time again but they weren't voted back in, they crooked their way back in office with falsifying votes as same was Sheriff and the others do in this county. Instead of Wyoming county it should be called crooked county.
